Clarence Feldman WEST LIBERTY, Iowa - Clarence Feldman, 89, of West Liberty died Thursday, July 27, 2000, at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness. Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, at the First Church United with Rev. Nancy English officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., at the Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established. Mr. Feldman was born on July 6, 1911, in West Liberty, the son of William and Hanna Jehle Feldman. He married Betty M. Hatfield on June 6, 1935, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He lived and farmed in West Liberty all of his life retiring in 1980. He was a member of The Farm Bureau, and the Grange for many years. He loved fishing, gardening and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include two sons: Stanley Feldman of Lone Tree, and Donald Feldman and his wife, JeanAnn, of Atalissa; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
