Tommy J. Rife

Tommy Rife CLARENCE, Iowa #45;- Tommy J. Rife, 40, of Clarence, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. The Rev. Michael Biklen will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bentley Funeral Homes in Wilton. Mr. Rife was born Nov. 14, 1959, in Muscatine, the son of John and Carolyn Clay Rife. He married Karen Urmie on June 16, 1979, in Nashua. He retired from J. M. Manufacturing in Wilton due to his health. He enjoyed the out of doors and demolition derbies. Survivors include a daughter, Latrisha Rife and her fiance, David Chappell, Clarence; three sisters, Becky Table of Omaha, Neb., Emma McIntire of Durant and Vicky Weaver of Nichols; a brother, John Rife of Atalissa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Suzanne Rife and Patsy Blake. [more]
