Joyce Beeding MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Joyce Ann Beeding, 62, of Muscatine, died Monday, September 11, 2000, at Unity Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2000, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Anderson of the Church of Living Water will officiate. Pallbearers will be Pete Stauffer, Jim Ash, Brian McKillip, Daniel Beeding, Lowell Snyder and Albert Hooker. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2000, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for the Joyce Beeding Memorial Fund. Joyce was born on October 21, 1937, in Muscatine, the daughter of Fred and Blanche Leet Stroughmatt. She married Burr Beeding on November 12, 1955, in Metropolis, Illinois. She enjoyed collecting statues, especially angel statues. She will be dearly missed by her dog J.D. (Joyce's Delight) and an African parrot named Buddy. Muscatine; a step son, Jerry Beeding of Muscatine; two step-daughters, Rebecca Boulton of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Rosalie Kruse of Davenport; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Violet Phillips and Alice Hooker and her husband, Jim, all of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Ernest, Edgar, Earl, Clyde, and Fred Jr.
