Jack Crowley

Jack Thomas Crowley, son of Thomas Benton and Breezie Mae Hughs Crowley, was born on December 30, 1922 in Clarendon, Arkansas. Jack enlisted in the United States Navy on October 20, 1942 and served his country in WWII until he was honorably discharged on December 8, 1944. Jack was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Ring on March 26, 1955 in Bettendorf, Iowa. Jack was a talented man who could do anything that he put his mind to do. He worked for Wick's Lumber for many years, attended Scott Community College, was a member of the Baptist faith and was a lifetime member of the Tipton Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 2537 in Tipton, Iowa. Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia of Tipton, Iowa; his four daughters, Patricia Bielema of Charles City, Iowa, Linda Achenbach and husband, Alex of Lisbon, Iowa, Judy Hanson and husband, Doug of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Shelley Neal and husband, Ben of Tipton, Iowa; four sons, Jack Robert Crowley and wife, Veronica of Tipton, Iowa, John Crowley and wife, Carol of Tipton, Iowa, Tom Crowley and wife, Carolyn of Tipton, Iowa and Carl Crowley of Anamosa, Iowa; 15 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. arents; sisters, Linda Martines and DeeDee Crowley, and two brothers, John Crowley and an infant brother who died shortly after birth. Jack will be laid to rest in the beautiful Red Oak Cemetery north of Tipton. He will be given full military honors at the graveside. You are invited to join the family for a time of food and visiting at the Tipton Lions Club building following the graveside committal service.
