Eva Jones MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Eva Pearl Jones, 92, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, Nov.14, 2000, at the West Branch Care Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Parrott of New Hope United Methodist Church will officiate. Florence Hetzler will be the organist. Pallbearers will be Jeff Deahr, Justin Deahr, Jeff Thurston, Mike Coiner, Jack Jones and Dale Powers. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established for the New Hope United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 15, 1908, in Columbus Junction, the daughter of Chester and Minnie Cross Powers. She was married to Ralph Jones on March 15, 1928, in Wapello. She was a past member of the United Brethren Church of Letts. She enjoyed antiques and flowers. Survivors include three daughters, Norma Beecher and her husband, John, of West Branch, Carol Deahr and her husband, Vernon, of Muscatine, and Ramona Morgan, and her husband, Calvin of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Nilie Jones ...[more]
