Beatrice Ziegenhorn MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Beatrice Gertrude Ziegenhorn, 82, of Muscatine, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Services were Saturday at the Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory in Muscatine. The Rev. Father John Paul Gallagher officiated. Pallbearers were Keith Ziegenhorn, Donald Gesell, Dennis Hartley, Robert Vetter, Fran Milder and Jim Lough. Burial was at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Beatrice Ziegenhorn Memorial Fund. Mrs. Ziegenhorn was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Muscatine, the daughter of Francis Joseph and Helen Elizabeth Missel Kleinfelder. She married Wayne Sherman Ziegenhorn on Feb. 4, 1945, at the St. Mary Rectory in Muscatine. She worked at the Palace Theater, Bazley Meat Market and Gloria's Craft Shop prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was very active with the Voluntary Action Center and had received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
