Nancy Houska

Nancy Joy Houska, age 82, of Quincy, died Monday, January 18, 2021, in Blessing Hospital. Nancy was born June 20, 1938 in Barry, Illinois, the daughter of Clayton E. and Dorothy M. Rupert Hanner. She graduated from Quincy High School. Nancy worked as a claims analyst for 27 years for Sentry Insurance in Springfield and in Chicago. She is survived by her son, Charles E. Houska of St. Louis, MO; her sister Julie Metz (Orlando) of Palmyra, MO; a niece, Angela McGaughey of Creve Croeur, MO; a nephew, Scott McGaughey (Theresa) Carthage, IL; and other family members. Her sister was her best friend as well as Elizabeth Albright and dog Amigo. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, John Houska.
