EDNA GREENE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Edna L. Greene, 88, formerly of 113 East Fourth St., died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at Unity Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Grace Lutheran Church, 2107 Cedar Street. The Rev. Leif Pohl will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Sulzberger, Doug Chalupa, John Sparks, David Duncan, Steve Haller and Brandon Sparks. Honorary Bearers will be her Great Grandchildren. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Greene was born on Oct. 30, 1912, in Muscatine, the daughter of Francis Edgar and Catherine Ann Riegel Honts. She married Wm. Allen Greene on Sept. 25, 1935, in Kahoka, Missouri. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and had taught Sunday School for many years. She was the receptionist for Dr. K. E. Wilcox for over 30 years retiring in 1981.
