Sherrie Jean Williams

Sherrie Jean Williams, 63 of Avery County, passed away March 20, 2020. She attended Trinity High School in Trinity and Cape Fear Tech in Wilmington. Sherrie was a beautiful person inside and out and a friend to all. She loved living in the mountains where she became quite the fly fishing expert, winning 4 state trout awards. Among fly fishing she was also a gifted artist, focusing on painting and stained glass art. Sherries generous personality, beautiful smile and love for life will be missed by many. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Allen; her children, Paul, Nicole Stevie; sister, Ginger Bowman family. Services will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. [more]
