C. W. 'Bill' Bischoff ANDALUSIA, Iowa #45;- C. W. 'Bill' Bischoff, 85, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Larson Funeral Home in Milan, Ill. The Rev. William Gluck will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Andalusia Community Baptist Church. Mr. Bischoff was born March 29, 1916, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Charles William Bischoff Sr. and Charity Faye Thompson. He married Blanche 'Sally' Reddig on Sept. 1, 1939. He retired as deputy director of the Army Material Command at the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Rockridge School board, Andalusia Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Justice of the Peace. He enjoyed traveling, listening to ragtime music, farming his 40 acres and bowling. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Hilger and her husband, James, of Andalusia; two sons, Mark Bischoff of Albany, Ill. and Jay Bischoff of Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren, Laura Clark and Jeffrey Hilgers, U.S.S.
