Harry Gust WILTON, Iowa #45;- Harry F. Gust, 87, of Wilton, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Muscatine Care Center. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton. The Rev. Bruce Giese will officiate. Organist will be Deb Mohr. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Lori Honts, Trisha Gradert, James Beinke, Connie Mechler, Diane Draper, Michael Sadler and Lara Burkhead. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at Bentley Funeral Homes in Wilton. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Care Center and to the First Presbyterian Church in Wilton. Mr. Gust was born on Jan. 26, 1914, to Paul and Christine Goettsch Gust in Muscatine. He married Leila N. Mumm on Feb. 19, 1938, in Davenport. He was employed by the City of Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. Previously he had been a foreman for the cities of Muscatine and Wilton waste treatment plants. He and his wife owned and operated the Maid Rite in Wilton from1959-1966. He also ran a milk route for Hometown Dairy. He was a member of the Wilton Fire Department for 20 years. f Wilton; two daughters, Janet Beinke and her husband, Larry, of Moscow, Jeanne Sadler and her husband, Neal, of Moscow; a son, Robert Gust and his wife, Susan, of Wilton; two sisters, Alice Mumm of Davenport, Virginia Petersen and her husband, Arlo, of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Margaret Gust, and a grandson, Edward Beinke.
