Steven Hawley DENVER, Colo. #45;- Steven E. Hawley, 53, of Denver died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at his home. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Muscatine. The Rev. James Lange will officiate. His body was cremated and the ashes will be spread over the Rocky Mountains, according to his wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Hawley was born April 28, 1948, in Muscatine, the son of James P. and Janet Moore Hawley. He married Sharon Haynes in September 1967. He later married Donita Lee in Denver in October 1979. He resided in Denver for 30 years, where he was employed by the steel construction trade. Survivors include a son, Todd of Blue Grass; a daughter, Ashlee of Denver; a granddaughter, Lauren of Blue Grass; his mother, Janet of Muscatine; four brothers, Gregg and Chris, both of Muscatine, Randy of Everett, Wash. and Curt of Loveland, Colo. He was preceded in death by his father, James in 1995; and a sister, Pamela, in infancy. [more]
