Calvin Vos NEW BOSTON, Ill. #45;- Calvin D. Vos, 49, of Mannon Road in rural New Boston died Friday June 23, 2001, at the Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo, Ill. The Rev. Ronald Yohe will officiate. Burial will be at the Drury Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a memorial fund has been established. Mr. Vos was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Monroe, Wash., the son of Herman and Irene Hamming Vos. He married Carol Koster July 14, 1972, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He graduated from Sultan High School in Sultan, Wash. He farmed in Missouri for several years and was an ordained Pastor, serving various churches for many years. He was employed in the maintenance department at the Westmer School District. He was a member of the Faith Chapel in Muscatine and was a member and founder of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Westmer. He enjoyed training and riding horses and gardening.
