Bonnie Hunter MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Bonnie J. Hunter, 64, of Muscatine died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Unity Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitations are 4-8 p.m. today and noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the abused women's shelter. Mrs. Hunter was born Nov. 6, 1936, in Lime City, the daughter of Thomas and Bertha Ford Proctor. She married Melvin Hunter on March 3, 1956, in Galveston, Mo. They owned and operated H amp; M Cleaning Services since 1986. She enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She also liked to play bingo and gambling at the riverboats and adding items to her many collections. Survivors include her husband, Melvin of Muscatine; three daughters, JoAnn McCleary of Davenport, Tammy Morehead of Illinois City, Ill. and Wendy Osborn of Muscatine; three sons, Thomas of Burlington, Randy of Clarence and Kevin of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; five sisters, Mary Benninger of Muskegon, Mich., Darlene Stender of Muscatine, Doris Smith of Wilton, Alice B...[more]
