Michael Orr NAPLES, Fla. - Michael G. Orr, 48, of Naples, formerly of Muscatine, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at his home of a sudden heart attack. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Episcopal Church . Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church Youth Group. Mr. Orr was born May 6, 1953, in Jeffersonville, Ind., the son of the late Robert J. Orr and Sue Orr Wagstaff. He attended Muscatine schools before moving to Fort Myers, Fla. in 1972. He was a trivia fan and had qualified as a finalist for Jeopardy and was on the waiting list to appear on the show. Survivors include, his mother, Sue Wagstaff and her husband, Raymond, of North Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers, Greg Orr and his wife, Ardyth, of Muscatine and Rick Orr and his wife, Linda, of Fort Myers; a sister, Jackie Compton and her husband, William, of North Fort Myers; his fiance, Jean Humphries of Naples; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews in Florida, Ohio and Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. 'Bob' Orr in 1979 and both his maternal and paternal grandparents. [more]
