Donna Patterson MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Donna M. Patterson, 51, of Muscatine died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a short illness. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jamie Spitznogle, Joel Taylor, Jay Swailes, Christopher Swailes, Ron Swailes and Rollin Swailes. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Patterson was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Tipton, the daughter of Everett and Betty Sell Swailes. She was a seamstress for the HON Company at the Geneva Plant. She liked to spend time with her crafts and her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother, Betty Swailes of Letts; special friend, Ron Thompson of Muscatine; a daughter, Deb MacGregor of Muscatine; two sons, Loren Patterson and Chad Patterson, both of Muscatine; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Ron Swailes of Letts, Rollin Swailes and his wife, Marilyn, of Muscatine and Jay Swailes and his wife, Ora, of Illinois City, Ill.; four sisters, Marilyn Crow of West Liberty, Gloria Hendrickson of Camanche, Joann Campbell of St. Louis, Mo. and Rita Taylor and her husban...[more]
