1950, where he served as Senior Class President. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean Conflict serving in Anchorage, Alaska. He owned and operated Schneekloth's Standard in Wilton for 22 years, retiring in 1980. In 1982 he worked at S/M Farm Services, retiring in 1992. He was employed by Krieger Motors in DeWitt. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wilton, the Masons, Shriners and Consistory, the Durant American Legion Post 430, the Wilton Fire Department and the Schleswig-Holsteim Society in Walcott. Survivors include his wife, Betty Schneekloth of DeWitt; two daughters, Theresa 'Terri' Sager and her husband, Elza, of Eldridge and Genei Loftus and her husband, Jack, of Lenexa, Kan.; three granddaughters, Ryanne Gillum, Randi Gillum and Regan Loftus; a sister, Janet Carstens of Wilton; a brother, Jerry Schneekloth of Bloomfield; and two aunts, Marjorie McCoy and Elizabeth McCoy, both of DeWitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Schneekloth.
