Helen Swick TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Helen Frances Swick, 75, of 517 E. Seventh St. in Tipton died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a battle with cancer. Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muscatine. The Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Pallbearers are Bob Peck, Rich Peck, Sam Koch, Don Simmons, Rudy Dammeier and Jim Willert. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7:30 p.m. today at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Swick was born March 3, 1926, in Wilton, the daughter of Fred and Hazel Edmonson Kallenberger. She married Harold C. Swick March 24, 1946 in Muscatine. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1945. She was a secretary to attorney Z.C. Nady; a receptionist for Dr. Kent; and was employed at Cedar Manor and the Cedar County Work Activity Center. She was a member of Tipton United Methodist Church, VFW Women's Auxiliary No. 2537 and Moose Women's Auxiliary No. 979. grandchildren, Corby, Terry, Cortney, Tami and Anthony; and a sister, Ethel Gray of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Roger, Dennis and David Swick; a grandson, Todd Swick; and two brothers, Lloyd and Don Kallenberger.
