Mary Ann Ash

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mary Ann Ash, 50, of Muscatine died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Swanson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery. Following nn Ash the service the family invites friends to join them at the Eagles for a time of fellowship. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday, with a 6:30 p.m. Ladies of the Eagles service, at the funeral home. Ms. Ash was born June 26, 1951, in Muscatine, the daughter of Howard L. and Marjorie P. Starkweather Ash. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1971. She was a label operator at H.J. Heinz for 23 years. She taught Sunday school for ages 2 and 3 at First Baptist Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary where she held the office of Inside guard. She enjoyed children and baby-sat on many occasions. Survivors include a brother, Howard E.
