Katherine Conaway CONESVILLE, Iowa #45;- Katherine L. Rich Conaway, 64, of Conesville, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at her home following a short illness. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. The Rev. Patrick Lumsden will officiate. Burial will be at the Conesville Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Katherine Conaway Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 206 Conesville, IA 52739. Mrs. Conaway was born on June 6, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Arthur and Twila Myers Rich. She married Darrel Conaway on Sept. 14, 1990, in Rock Island, Ill. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids in 1955. She retired from Rockwell in 1999. She was a member of the Emma Beckman Chapter of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband; five children, Julie Fisher and her husband, Ed, of Mechanicsville, Robert Cole and his wife, Sue, of Letts, Theresa Vernon of Monticello, Janie Cole of Washington and Sally Graham and her husband, Don, of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; six s...[more]
