Everett Frank 'Bub' Webb

Everett Webb WAPELLO, Iowa #45;- Everett Frank 'Bud' Webb, 79, of Wapello died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at his home. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Wapello. The Revs. Harlan W. Winter and Chris Thomas will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Be Parsons and vocalist the Rev. Barbara Burr. Pallbearers are his grandsons, Michael Bud Kennedy, Samuel Richard Willson and Brock Marshall Webb. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Grandview with military rites conducted by the Wapello Veterans of Foreign Wars. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established to benefit the United Methodist Church and the Wapello Volunteer Fire Department. Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Webb was born on Nov. 1, 1922, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Marshall Leo and Anna Amanda Phole Webb. He married Dorothy Keltner on Feb. 23, 1947, in Grandview. He attended school in Columbus City. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. as a member of the United Methodist Church in Wapello; the Wapello Lodge No. 5 A.F. amp; A.M., where he was a former master and treasurer; the Order of the Eastern Star; the VFW Glenn Allen Post No. 5166 in Wapello; and served on the Wapello Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed traveling and family times, which included the many sports activities of his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Anita Kennedy and her husband, Dennis, of Omaha, Neb., Diana Kuhlenbeck and her husband, Larry, of Muscatine and Peggy Willson and her husband, Rick, of Wapello; two sons, Douglas Webb and his wife, Janice, of Wapello and Kevin Webb and his wife, Carol, of Central City, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Iona Burr and Edna Tucker; a brother, Vernon Webb; and two great-grandsons.
