Beulah Hamilton BOONE, Iowa #45;- Beulah Hamilton, 91, of Boone died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at the Boone County Hospital in Boone due to a heart ailment. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Boone. Burial will be at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone. Visitations are noon-9 p.m. Wednesday, with family present 7-9 p.m., at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel in Boone and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Memorials may be given to the Sunday School Window Replacement Fund at First United Methodist Church or the Mackey United Methodist Church of Mackey. Mrs. Hamilton was born on March 14, 1910, in Harrison Township in Boone County near Mackey, the daughter of George and Hattie Wheeler Knight. She married Merle Hamilton on Jan. 29, 1933 in Papillion, Neb. She lived in Boone most of her life. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and family activities. She was a member of First United Methodist Church; the Mackey Methodist WomenÕs Circle; and the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees Inc. n Harvey and her husband, Richard, of Muscatine; a sister, Erma Madden of Boone; five grandchildren, Robin Schroeder of Boone, Scott Hamilton of Ames, Chris Harvey of Waterville, Jon Harvey of Muscatine and Debbie Potter of Des Moines; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
