ALBERT WHISLER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Albert G. Whisler, 69, of 700 West Seventh St, died Saturday, February 2, 2002, at Genesis Hospital - East Campus, Davenport. Graveside services will be in the Soldiers Section of Greenwood Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A luncheon will be held at the American Legion Post 27, 110 South Houser following the committal service. There will be no visitation and the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Albert Whisler Memorial Fund. Mr. Whisler was born on Nov. 19, 1932, in Muscatine, the son of Joseph and Eunice Wymer Whisler. He married Frances M. Allen on March 17, 1957, in Wynette, Illinois. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He owned and operated A-1 Foreign Car Service for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Frances Whisler of Muscatine; two sons, Joseph E. Whisler of Muscatine and Gerald L. Whisler and his wife, Laurette, of Muscatine; one daughter, Linda J.
