NINA LAKE MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Nina J. Lake, 66, Muscatine, died Friday, February 8, 2002, at her home in Muscatine. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2002, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral. Pastor Wade Duroe will officiate the service. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2002, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Genesis Hospice in her memory. She was born June 8, 1935, in Mercer County, Illinois, the daughter of Orvie amp; Minnie Smith Fuller. She married Albert Lake on March 30, 1956, in Muscatine. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Muscatine. She enjoyed cross-stitching, making quilts, and playing computer games and general sewing. She retired from GPC after 44 years of service as a secretary. She is survived by her husband, Albert Lake of Muscatine; two daughters, Renata Lake and Julianna Lake, both of Muscatine; one granddaughter, Hannah Lake; four sisters, Betty Reynolds of Momouth, Illinois, Clara McKeown of Muscatine, Phyllis Danner of Illinois City, Illinois, and Minnie Rhodes of Promise...[more]
