IRENE MILLER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Irene R. Miller, 86, of 10 Alleyne Drive, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Sharon Phillips of the Jesus Mission will officiate. Pallbearers will be Denny Miller, Jason Miller, Matt Miller, Mark Miller, Randy Miller, Joe Hazen and Ryan Henrichs. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Irene Miller Memorial Fund. Mrs. Miller was born on Dec. 11, 1915, in Muscatine, the son of Levi and Emma Smith Odell. She married Samuel E. Miller on Nov. 25, 1937, in Muscatine. She was a life long resident of Muscatine. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She worked as a private duty nurse for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1989; two sons, Richard Miller and James E. Miller; a grandson, David S. Miller; a brother, Levi Odell, and two sisters, Effie Rock and Lucy McKnight.
