Dorothy Lilienthal DURANT, Iowa #45;- Dorothy E. Lilienthal, 89, Durant, died Friday, March 8, 2002, at Kahl Home For The Aged, Davenport. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. The Rev. David Lawson will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Mabyn Fox and vocalist Henry Bentley. Pallbearers are Brent Frey, Dawn Frey, Jane Frey, Keith Lilienthal, Bob Frick and Ellen Paulsen. Honorary pallbearers are Les Bland, Al Lacock, Mike Schreck and Henry Bentley. Burial will be at Durant Cemetery, Durant. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Durant Ambulance Service. Mrs. Lilienthal was born on March 17, 1912, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Carl and Fredricka Grage Ploen. She married Alvin L. Lilienthal on Dec. 16, 1939, in Davenport. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1990. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and family as well as listening and dancing to Polka music.
