Eldon Paulsen WILTON, Iowa #45;- Eldon G. Paulsen, 87, Wilton, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at the Wilton Care Center, Wilton. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. The Rev. Darin Lovelace will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Deb Mohr and vocalists Joy Duffe and Henry Bentley. Pallbearers are Dan Paulsen, Dave Paulsen, Dr. Mike Schreck, Larry Schlapkohl, Eldred Meier, Darryl Paulsen and Dick Paulsen. Honorary pallbearers are Darrol Price, Paul Finck and Gerald Schlapkohl. Burial will be at Durant Cemetery, Durant. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Durant Lions Club. Mr. Paulsen was born Oct. 21, 1914, in Scott County, the son of William and Anna Griebel Paulsen. He married Dorothy W. Schlapkohl Jan. 7, 1942, in Davenport. He farmed most of his life in Cedar County. He was a charter member of the Durant Lion's Club and a member of the Muscatine Moose Lodge.
