Rollin Smith COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa #45;- Rollin 'Moe' Smith, 71, Columbus Junction, died Monday, April 8, at Washington County Hospital. Services are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Columbus Junction United Methodist Church, Columbus Junction. Burial will be at Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Memorials may be made to Columbus Junction United Methodist Church or Columbus City United Methodist Church. Mr. Smith was born on Dec. 6, 1930, in Louisa County, the son of Neal and Edith Pretz Smith. He married Margaret Williams on June 3, 1950, in Conesville. He farmed all his life in the Columbus Junction area. He was a member of the Columbus City No. 107 A.F. and A.M. Masonic Lodge, KAABA Shrine, Davenport Consistory and Louisa County Farm Bureau. He was a member of Columbus Junction United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school. He was a past member of the Columbus Junction Jaycees, and he sold seed corn for the Garst Seed Company. nd his wife, Suzanne, of Columbus Junction; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Smith and his wife, Bonnie, and Jim Smith and his wife, Marilyn, all of Davenport; and two sisters, Pauline Pine and her husband, Gordon, of Louisville, Ky., and Kathleen Sands and her husband, Bill, of Mission, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
