Jack Lee Otten, son of Ben H. and Audrey P. Schuman Otten, was born on August 8, 1957, in Monticello, Iowa. He attended school in Tipton, Iowa. Jack was united in marriage to Laura Jean Wulf on May 17, 1975. He was employed as a mechanic for John Deere. Jack was a past member of the Moose Lodge. Jack is loved and survived by his wife, Laura Otten of Tipton, Iowa; his daughters, Julie (Keith) Villhauer of Tipton, Iowa, Crystal Otten of Tipton, Iowa; son Jeffrey (Mindy) Otten of Tipton, Iowa; his mother, Audrey Otten of Oxford Mills, Iowa; grandchildren, Jordan Lynn Villhauer, Brianna Otten, Jacob Otten, and a grandchild on the way; sisters, Bobbie Twitty of Muscatine, Iowa, Jeanie Williams of Lisbon, Iowa, his twin sister, Jan Grunder of Columbus, Ohio, and Tammy Clark of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brothers, Ben Otten Jr., of Dubuque, Iowa and Tom Otten of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Otten; brother, Bill Sanford; and sister, Dorothy Snow.
