Jeffrey Aaron Murphy TIPTON, Iowa - Jeffrey Aaron Murphy, 33, of Tipton, died Friday, May 24, 2002, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the First United Church of Christ, Tipton. The Rev. David Lorenzen will officiate. Organist is Nancy Hiipple. Visitation is 4-7 p.m., at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Pall bearers are Matt Hoskins, Shane Martin, Rick Shumaker, Terry Salmonson, Randy Shumaker and Gary Crock. Burial is at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Mr. Murphy was born Feb. 7, 1969, in Cedar Rapids to Jimmie Eugene and Wilma Marie Svatosch Murphy. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1987 and attended Kirkwood Community College and the University of Northern Iowa. He married Sherrie Kay Behrle, Nov. 9, 1993 in Tipton. He was a process engineer for TIBOR in Rock Island, Ill., Custom Builders and Randy Shumaker Construction. He was a member of the Tipton Fast Pitch Softball Team.
