Shirley Wilson COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa #45;- Shirley Wilson, 69, Columbus Junction, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at her home after a courageous battle cancer. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Burial will be at the Cambrian Cemetery, rural Columbus Junction. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Mrs. Wilson was born on Feb. 7, 1933, in Washington, the daughter J. William and Grace Arthur Robertson. She married William O. Wilson on May 30, 1953, in Mount Pleasant. She had taught elementary school for 32 years in the Olds, Mediapolis and Columbus Junction Community School System, retiring in 1995. She was a Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Cotter Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Chapter R, TTT, the Louisa County Retired Teachers Association, Cedar Crest Country Club and the Wyman Community Club. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother and avid fan for all of her grandchildren's activities.
