Jack Hill Waycross, Ga. #45;- Jack Christ Hill, 69, Waycross, Ware County, formerly of Muscatine, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at his home. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel, Waycross. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 815 Elizabeth St., Waycross, GA 31501. Mr. Hill is the son of Cecil Christopher and Laura Mae Barrows Hill. He had lived in Ware County since 1976. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1954, retiring in 1974. He served during the Vietnam War, 1968-69 and 1972. He also received the Air Force Accommodation Medal. He was a transfer officer for the Department of Corrections, 1981-97. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4382 of Waycross, the Disabled American Veterans of America and the Peace Officers Association of Georgia.
