Elizabeth Ward CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa #45;- Elizabeth K. 'Betty' Ward, 76, 868 12th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, at Living Center West after an extended illness. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Turner West Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Chaplin Steve Hindman will officiate. Burial will be at Lisbon Cemetery. Visitations are 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. wake service, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Mrs. Ward was born on Nov. 4, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Mary Sprincel Pazour. She married Leo Ward on July 5, 1958, in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was an assembly operator at LeFebure Corp. for 35 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Eagle Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Marion Post No. 298. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Tama, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Bonwell and her husband, Allen, of Cedar Rapids, Mary Ann Johns and Myron Milder and her husband, Tom, of Muscatine; two sons, Ray Musil and Robert King and his wife, Jane, all of Cedar Rapids; a stepdaugh...[more]
