Thomas Skubal PHOENIX, Ariz. #45;- Thomas J. Skubal, 69, Phoenix, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2002, at the Presbyterian Church, Columbus Junction. There will be a gathering for family and friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Columbus City Masonic Lodge after the services. Mr. Skubal was born on March 20, 1933, in Cotter, the son of Vincent and Elsie Skubal. He married Georgia Marshall on Oct. 12, 1952. He was a pilot member of the Washington Flyers Club; member of the National Purebred Yorkshire Club; former member of the Ainsworth Methodist Church, Masonic Temple, Shriners and the Royal Order of Atlantic Voyagers. He served in the U.S. Army and Reserve in the Korean War. He was a farmer, a special investigator for Federal Crop Insurance for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C., Iowa and Arizona, an Iowa pork producer, a realtor for Coldwell Banker in Arizona and was a compliance specialist for the Bureau of Reclamation in the U.S. Department of Interior for the State of California. gela Snelling and her husband, Tim, of Phoenix and Kathy Bell and her husband, Dennis, of Columbus Junction; grandchildren, Amber Garner and her husband, Scott, of Little Rock, Andy Bell and his wife, Dr. Rebecca Bell, of Shueyville, Nick Bell of North Liberty, Greg Bell of Columbus Junction, Timothy and Emily Snelling of Phoenix; a great-grandson, Scott Garner II of Little Rock; and a sister, Esther Keller of Davenport. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Rod and Jim.
