Barbara Flake MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Barbara 'Bobbie' L. Flake, 60, 16 Ashley Ave., Muscatine, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at Unity Hospital. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev Sharon Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers are Dallas Dunbar, Charlie Madden, Mitch Madden, Leroy Land, Ray Dells and Brian Norton. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mrs. Flake was born on Sept. 15, 1942, in Fireball, Calif., the daughter of Olsie L. and Myrtle L. Hicks Turpin. She married Marvin Flake Sr. on May 3, 1973, in Muscatine. She was a resident of Muscatine since 1970. Survivors include her husband; two sons Marvin Flake Jr. and his wife, Frances, of Muscatine and Johnny Casteel and his wife, Shelby, of Milwaukee, Wis.; two daughters, Mary Irick and her husband, Ray, of Bufalo and Bonnie Albrecht and her husband, Mike, of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Barb Parkes, Adam and Allen Albrecht and John and Alice Casteel; eight great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Brianna and Courtney Casteel, Mackenzie Charlier, Madison and Ta...[more]
