Harold Longshore WAPELLO, Iowa #45;- Harold Dean Longshore, 73, Wapello, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, at the Great River Medical Center, West Burlington. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. The Rev. Danny Phillips will officiate. Burial will be at the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, with family present 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established to benefit the Wapello Community Ambulance Service and the Community Health Care of Wapello. Mr. Longshore was born on March 7, 1929, in Wapello, the son of Homer R. and Elizabeth 'Bessie' Angus Wilson Longshore. He married Isabelle Belt Clayton on Aug. 14, 1992, in Johnstown, Ohio. He graduated from Wapello High School in 1948. He worked with the Louisa County Road Maintenance for many years. He was a member of the former Cedar Street Church of God, Wapello. He enjoyed his work and visiting with friends and family. Survivors include his wife; two stepdaughters, Anita Hunter and Rebeca Clayton, both of Croton, Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
