Harold Storm LONE TREE, Iowa - Harold F. Storm, 89, Lone Tree, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a illness. Services are 1:30 p.m., Monday at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. The Rev. Ann Rouse will officiate. Pallbearers are Dan Schaefer, Matt Schaefer, Curt Jensen, John Butler, Ed Eden and Dennis Barnes. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Elliott, Howard Stock, Gerald Brinkmeyer, John Robbins and Jim Stock. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery with Military Services provided by the Lone Tree American Legion Post No. 457. Following services at the cemetery a time of fellowship will be held at the church. Visitation is 2-5 p.m Sunday at the Sorden-Lewis Funeral Home in Lone Tree. Memorials may be directed to the church or the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Storm was born on June 15, 1913, in rural Conesville, the son of Francis H. and Iva Atkin Storm. He married Grace Jean Cheyne on Aug. 8, 1942, in Springfield, Mo. nd operator of Storm Drainage Construction Company from 1946 -1997 retiring at the age of 83. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, the Lone Tree American Legion Post No. 457, Lone Tree Fire Department, the I-Club of Iowa City and past Land Improvement Contractors of America member. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, attending the very first football game at Kinnick Stadium. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lana G. Schaefer and her husband, Dale, of Rockwell and Lori G. Storm of Lone Tree; five grandchildren and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
