Carl Crispin TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Carl Alvin Crispin, 86, of 300 E. Second St., Tipton, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at the Clarence Nursing Home, Clarence, after a lengthy illness. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. The Rev. Carol Lamp will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Dorothy Harmsen and vocalist Dale Thomas. Burial will be at Red Oak Grove Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Mr. Crispin was born on Dec. 28, 1916, in Cedar County, the son of Gerald D. and Ruth E. Little Crispin. He married Pearl R. Wieck on April 9, 1939, at the Sugar Creek Church, Wilton. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1935. He was a truck driver, worked at the Tipton Maid-Rite, he also was a Cedar Jones Juvenile Probation Officer and a school bus driver. He was a member of Red Oak Grove Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge.
