Paul Bennett GALESBURG, Ill. #45;- Paul A. Bennett, 71, of 405 Knox Road 2000 N. Galesburg, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, Galesburg. The Rev. Thomas Heather will officiate. Entombment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of the donor's choice. Mr. Bennett was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Blue Island, Ill., the son of Percival and Cora Winn Bennett. He married Patricia Phelps Feb. 28, 1951, in Muscatine. He graduated from Muscatine High School, attended Muscatine Junior College and graduated from the National Institute of Dry Cleaning in Silver Springs, Md. He owned of Anderson Cleaners in Galesburg since 1980. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Paul Bennett and his wife, Cathy, of Carbondale, Ill., Scot Bennett and his wife, Sue, of Galesburg and Tony Bennett and his wife, Cindy, of Clinton; a brother, Allen Bennett and his wife, Elsie, of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Betty Bennett of Fullerton, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
