DOROTHY KNOTT MUSCATINE, Iowa - Dorothy M. Knott, 92, Muscatine, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at Lutheran Homes. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Mulford Evangelical Free Church. The Rev. Jerry Foote will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Mulford Free Evangelical Free Church or the Muscatine Art Center. Mrs. Knott was born June 15, 1910, in Muscatine, the daughter of Harry W. and Vera Sherberger Holzhauer. She married Edward M. Knott April 6, 1931, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Mulford Evangelical Free Church, the W.C.T.U., and B.P.W. She was a 1927 graduate of Muscatine High School. She worked at HON Industries for 25 years as secretary and she also ran a used clothing store on Newell Avenue. Survivors include four sons, David H. Knott of Muscatine, Jerry W. Knott and his wife Annette of Portland, Ore., William A. Knott and his wife Mary of Arvada, Colo., and Michael J.
