Louis Carter MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Louis A. Carter, 77, Muscatine, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Unity Hospital. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Wade Duroe will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Carter was born on Sept. 14, 1925, in Muscatine County, the son of Floyd C. and Dorothy Hayes Carter. He worked at Crossroads for many years as an assembly worker. He enjoyed baseball, especially watching the Chicago Cubs. He was preceded in death by his parents. [more]
