iring in 1977. She lived in Selma Valley, Calif., for 10 years then moved to Carson City, Nev., in 1986. In 1998, she moved to Sioux Falls. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, Muscatine. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and loved flowers. Survivors include a son, David Ripley and his wife, Reba, of Bettendorf; three daughters, Janeen Davis of Carson City, Nev., Sharon Ripley of Muscatine and Aleta Carlson and her husband, Alan, of Brandon, S.D.; a brother, Willard Smull of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Vonda Lee; a son-in-law, Murph Davis; five brothers, Henry, Cecil, Ralph, Levi and Duard Smull; and two sisters, Fern Pursell and Mary Smull.
