William 'Bill' M. Morrison

William Morrison WEST LIBERTY, Iowa #45;- William M. 'Bill' Morrison, 69, West Liberty, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. Services are 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, at the First Church United, West Liberty. The Rev. Jared Trullinger will officiate. Burial will be at North Prairie Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty. Memorials may be made to West Liberty Youth Sports. Mr. Morrison was born on Oct. 17, 1933, near West Liberty, the son of Marvin P. and Viola Lehman Morrison. He married Betty Pedersen on Sept. 6, 1959, West Liberty. He graduated from West Liberty High School in 1952. He was a Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Navy. He farmed most of his life, following his retirement he drove school bus, sold real estate and was the Muscatine County Fair manager.
