David Kokjohn WILTON, Iowa #45;- David P. Kokjohn, 33, Wilton, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a battle with cancer. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 308 Spruce St., Wilton. The Rev. Brian Shepley will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by vocalists, Henry Bentley and Cindy Hammes. Pallbearers are Roger Griswald, Jim Gavin, Dan Speed, Steve Shipley, Don Snodgrass and Jim Einfeldt. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison. Sister Mary Helen will officiate. Visitations are 4-8 p.m. today, with an 8 p.m. Christian Wake Service, at Bentley Funeral Home, 302 W. Fifth St., Wilton, and one hour prior to services Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and to the St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund. Mr. Kokjohn was born on Dec. 26, 1969, in Fort Madison, the son of Richard and Karen Miller Kokjohn. He married Kim Johnson on Aug. 14, 1993, in Fort Madison. hool, Fort Madison, in 1988. He then graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1994 with a batchelor of science degree in pharmacy. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wilton. He had an adventurous spirit and a willingness to try new things. He enjoyed the outdoors, his career, motorcycle trips and had a great sense of humor. Most of all he loved his children. Survivors include three daughters, Alyson Kokjohn, Samantha Kokjohn and Jessica Kokjohn, all at home in Wilton; his parents; a brother, Patrick Kokjohn and his wife, Jennifer, of Boone; grandparents, Iva Kokjohn of Fort Madison, Ruth DeWein and her husband, Frank, of Weaver and Louis Miller of Fort Madison; a niece; four nephews; special friend, Barb Orr of Muscatine; and his former wife, Kim Kokjohn of Wilton. He was preceded by his grandfather, Frank Kokjohn.
