Frederick Behrle TIPTON, Iowa #45;- Frederick Thomas Behrle, 81, Tipton, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at the Mechanicsville Nursing amp; Rehab Center after a lingering illness. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. The Rev. Eugene Benda will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Mary Barnum, organist. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, with a 7 p.m. parish vigil, at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. A memorial has been established. Mr. Behrle was born on March 13, 1922, in Perryville, Mo., the son of Frank and Nellie Taylor Behrle. He married Carol Ann Lerch Brooks on March 31, 1975, in Cedar Rapids. He attended Perryville country schools. He was a certified welder for Herman M. Brown of Milan, Ill. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; children, Leona Nation and her husband, Charles, of Wheatland, Wyo., Susan Sweringen and her husband, Paul, of Massachusetts, Irene Fulkner and her husband, Dave, of Cedar Rapids, Thomas Behrle, Dewey Behrle and his wife, Cheryl, and John Behrle, all of Tipton, Eddie Joe Behrle and his ...[more]
