William M. Cole WILTON, Iowa - William M. Cole, age 54, of Wilton, died on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at Genesis Medical Center East in Davenport. Services are 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Grace United Church of Christ in Wilton. The Rev. Larry Duffe will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist, Deb Mohr and vocalist, Henry Bentley. Pall bearers are Randy Hansen, Jim Hull, Jerry Poor, Herb Rameriz, Doug Brammeier, and Doug Beinke. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. Visitation is 3-7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 28, at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton and on Monday, Dec. 29, one hour prior to services at Grace United Church of Christ. Memorials may go to the Wilton First Responders. Mr. Cole was born July 31, 1949, to Ellwyn and Bernice Beinke Cole in Muscatine. He married Karen A. Meier June 29, 1974, in Wilton. He was employed at HON Industries in Muscatine for 24 years, retiring in 1997. He also worked part-time for two-and-a-half years at Autogear in Wilton. Survivors include his wife, Karen Cole of Wilton; one son, Randy Cole of Tucson, Az.; one granddaughter, Alyssa Miranda Cole of Tucson, Az.; two sisters, Sandi Cole of Wilton and Beth and her husband Arlo Sandersfeld of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Stan Cole, of Wilton; a special niece, Stephanie Cole of Wilton; a special nephew, Kevin Sandersfeld and family of Mount Pleasant; a special cousin, Scott Holmes and family of Wilton: his mother-in-law, Viola Hull of Wilton; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and husband Jerry, Poor of Moscow, Cindy and husband Jim Hull of Moscow and Joe Meier of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Brett Sandersfeld.
