Muscatine County. He also served on the Scott and Muscatine County Farm Service Board where he served as secretary for five years, was the past president of the Muscatine County Farm Bureau, Farm Bureau director and a voting delegate. He volunteered at the Letts Public Library and enjoyed fishing, farming and enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a sponsor of his cousins, Walter and Wanda Kebernik, when they moved from Germany to the United States to become U.S. Citizens. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Steven C. Lange of Muscatine, John D. Lange and Gary R. Lange and wife Sheree, all of Letts; a daughter, Mary J. Morrison and special friend Jim Greenwald of Letts; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy B. Bailey of Letts and Betty A. Houseman and husband James of Muscatine; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
