Bernice Cromer MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Bernice B. Cromer, 85, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Unity Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. The Rev. Brian McNamara will officiate. Casket bearers are Mike Cromer, Vinton Cromer, Ray Cromer, Nathan Schmidt, Brady Schmidt and Jamie Cromer. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Mrs. Cromer was born April 17, 1918, in Wilton, the daughter of Walter S. and Vera M. Kelly Lenker. She married Wilson L. Cromer Aug. 11, 1937, in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was a life-long resident of the Muscatine area and worked as a seamstress for many years. Survivors include four sons, John W. Cromer and wife Elizabeth of Muscatine, Leo F. Cromer and wife Sandy of Rock Island, Ill., Dana L. Cromer and wife Judy and Jan A. Cromer, all of Muscatine; a daughter, Cherolyn D.
