Virginia Riley NEW BOSTON, Ill. #45;- Virginia Riley, 80, New Boston, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in St. Simons Island, Ga. Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the New Boston United Methodist Church. Private burial will be at the New Boston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice, Aledo, Ill. The Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Riley was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Parke County, Ind., the daughter of Herschel Daniel and Clara Falls Webster. She married William Clair Riley June 24, 1942, in Norfolk, Va. She was a member of New Boston United Methodist Church. She was an avid golfer and belonged to the Oak View Country Club, Aledo. She worked at HON Industries, Muscatine, for 24 years in the corporate office. Survivors include two children, Teri (Riley) Moore and husband Marion of Brunswick, Ga., and Kyle Riley and wife Susan of Fruitland; four grandchildren, Michael William Hartman of Las Vegas, Ann Elizabeth Martore of Atlanta, Ga., Scott Webster Riley of Lee's Summitt, Mo., and Bret Patrick Riley of Iowa City; and seven great-grandchildren.
