Marcella Fuller NEW BOSTON, Ill. #45;- Marcella June Carey Fuller, 77, New Boston, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Ill. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at New Boston United Methodist Church. A time for fellowship will be held immediately following the services. Graveside services are 2 p.m. at Indian Creek Cemetery, rural Columbus Junction. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the church. Memorials may be made to New Boston United Methodist Church or the New Boston Fire Department. Speer Funeral Home in Aledo, Ill., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fuller was born June 26, 1926, in Donahue, the daughter of Gay and Elenora Gosch Gronewold. She married Clayton 'Butch' Carey Sept. 29, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1957. She later married Andy M. 'Hap' Fuller Feb. 17, 1963, in New Boston. She was a member of New Boston United Methodist Church, Methodist Women, Mercer County Home Extension, the New Boston American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Mercer County Farm Bureau. oreign exchange students. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Andy 'Hap' Fuller; her children, David Carey and wife Barbara of Washington, Mo., Janet Wright of Muldrow, Okla., Steve Carey and wife Charlene of New Boston, Steven Fuller of Lexington, Mo., and Penny Dierickx of Muscatine; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and a granddaughter, Christine.
